John (Bob) Johnston
Richard Keck is President of The Keck Group international, LLC. Mr. Keck is a Global Executive with diversified leadership in technical sales, operations and engineering across Energy (power generation & oil & gas) and Aviation industries. His expertise includes managing $300M plus budgets focusing on reducing cost and increasing operational efficiency. Recognized for the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for innovation which has resulted in twelve U.S. Patents.
In addition, Mr. Keck performs investments and consulting services focusing on investments in the Energy sector. He is also currently an Independent Board Director of O'Brien & Gere (since 2014).
From June 2009-August 2014, Mr. Keck was a Senior Executive for Engineering, Drilling and Production at GE Oil and Gas. He was a global leader for the engineering function in the drilling and production business unit which included 1500+ employees worldwide. He was responsible for all aspects of engineering for Surface, Offshore, Drilling, Artificial Lift and Subsea Platforms including advanced technology, new product introduction, requisition, service engineering and customer support
From October 2003-June 2009, Mr. Keck was a General Manager of GE Aero Engineering where he led a global 500-plus person team responsible for engineering design, development, requisition, and service functions for GE Energy's Aero Energy Division, a $3 billion business focused on the production and the service of aeroderivative and reciprocating engines for Industrial, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation applications.
Prior, Mr. Keck served in a variety of other roles at GE dating back to 1989 including GM of Product Service Engineering for GE Energy, GM of Gas Turbine Service Engineering of GE Energy, Manager of Gas Turbine Technology for GE Energy, Manager of Automation Technology, Manager of Processes, and Sr. Design Engineer.
Bob Johnston is President of The Keck Group International, LLC. Mr. Johnston worked for GE Gas Turbine Engineering from 1966 to 2008. Starting in the mid 1980's Mr. Johnston was manager of the Gas Turbine Services Engineering group that supplied upgrade/uprate packages for a fleet of 7,000 GE design heavy Duty gas turbines. Mr. Johnston grew this business from $10M in 1985 to $770M in 2007. For the first 3 years after his retirement, Mr. Johnston worked thru the Gas Turbine Consultants Co, for the Ali A. Tamimi Co (GE's agent in Saudi) as their engineering manager, to support the GE fleet of heavy duty gas turbines in Saudi Arabia. After retirement in 2008, Mr. Johnston was also under contract to support the same group he had previously managed from 2008 to April 2016. This group is responsible for supplying engineered packages for different fuels, emissions control, reliability improvements, controls upgrades, and uprates in power and efficiency for the installed fleet of GE heavy Duty Gas Turbines. Mr. Johnston has extensive expertise on all frame sizes and models of GE gas turbines and all associated accessories built from 1950 thru present. Mr. Johnston’s experience covers design engineering, application engineering, systems engineering, installation and maintenance, and technical customer support for the GE fleet of gas turbines. Additionally, Mr. Johnston has extensive experience helping customers with all types of issues on other rotating equipment at their power plants.
